Monec OÜ (“Monec”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Personal Data We Process and How We Obtain It
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Your name, contact details, professional role and company or organisation details.
- Information contained in enquiries, communications and financing-related matters.
- Records relating to our communications and business relationship.
- Website and technical information, including information obtained through cookies and similar technologies where permitted.
- Advertising or referral identifiers, such as a Google Click Identifier (GCLID), where available.
- Information about the progress or outcome of an enquiry or transaction for measurement and business-analysis purposes.
We may obtain personal data directly from you, from the company or organisation you represent, from advisers or other persons involved in a transaction, from our website, or through third-party services or platforms through which you contact us.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Enquiries and services: to respond to enquiries, assess financing opportunities, communicate with relevant parties and provide or administer our services. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps or a contract, and/or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where we rely on our legitimate interests in operating our business and responding to business enquiries.
- Legal and regulatory compliance: where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Security and legal rights: where necessary for our legitimate interests in protecting our systems, preventing misuse and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Analytics, advertising measurement and optimisation: to understand how our website and advertising perform and which enquiries or transactions result from our marketing activities. Where applicable, we rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where consent is required for cookies, similar technologies or advertising user data, we rely on consent.
4. Google Ads and Advertising Measurement
Monec uses Google Ads and may use Google Ads Data Manager and Enhanced Conversions for Leads to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising.
For eligible conversion events, we may provide Google with hashed contact identifiers, such as an email address or telephone number, together with related conversion and advertising-interaction information. Google may use the hashed identifier to determine whether a conversion can be associated with an advertising interaction.
We use this processing only where the applicable legal and consent requirements are satisfied.
5. Sharing Personal Data
Where necessary and lawful, we may share personal data with:
- Professional advisers and service providers.
- Financing providers, investors, counterparties and other participants involved in a transaction.
- Technology, hosting, communications, analytics and advertising providers.
- Google in connection with Google Ads and advertising measurement.
- Public authorities, courts or regulators where required by law.
- Other recipients where permitted by applicable law.

Some recipients or service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
